In the spring of 2015, GDC SKN invited renowned designer Stephan Sagmeister to Saskatoon to give his presentation, Happiness. I was lucky enough to be selected to create the poster and supporting materials for the event, working from a single photo supplied by Stephan. I decided to strip the pieces down to the basic four colours, allowing the overlapping inks to create and illustrate the more complex areas, including some purposeful misregistration for movement. I have been very flattered to have found examples of this style adapted by other designers for other events.
