The cover design for the book was a challenge, since the content of the book was samples of very disparate writing styles. And a photo of the Writer in Residence was not an option, since the book was to celebrate the participants. Instead, I chose to digitally composite all of the pages within the book on top of each other at small, random offsets. Every word that appears in the book is in this way included in the cover's design.
